Fostoria Man Hurt In Allen Township Accident

A Fostoria man was injured after an accident in Allen Township around noon on Monday. The Hancock County SHeriff’s Office Reports that 34-year-old Shaun Cooper of Fostoria was heading north on County Road 140. A commercial truck driven by 47-year-old James Starkey III of Carey tried turning left and pulled into of Cooper.

Hanco EMS took Cooper to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment. Starkey was checked at the scene. Officers issued him a citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left.
