Harvest Season Means More Farmers On The Roadways

Harvest season is here which means you are going to see more farm machinery out and about. OSU extension educator Ed Lentz said that you’ll want to be patient if you get behind one.
Lentz said that if you’re patient the driver will probably pull over to let you around when it is possible. He added that on days before rain farmers will often work longer days. You’ll want to be careful because this will make it easier for them to make a mistake.
Lentz said that there are two peaks in the season.
During these peaks, you will see more equipment on the roads.
