Liberty-Benton Employees Get New Three-Year Contract
6/28/18 – 5:14 A.M.
Cooks, custodians, and bus drivers in the Liberty-Benton school district will have a new contract starting next week. The LB school board approved a three-year contract for the group during a Wednesday meeting. The employees will get a 2.75 percent raise in the first year of the deal. They can earn raises of up to 2.75 percent in the second and third years based on performance.
Superintendent Mark Kowlaski says there aren’t any changes to benefits.
The contract is identical to a deal approved last month by educational aides, secretaries, and maintenance staff.
