Liberty Township Fire Department Awarded $11,000 Grant From Ohio BWC

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation awarded a grant to the Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department. According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the grant is worth $11,000. It will help pay for firefighter gloves and hoods to help keep contaminants off critical areas. It will also help the department get an extractor washer to clean off the firefighter gear.
