Local American Red Cross Chapter Starts New Program To Get Coffee To Veterans And Military Personnel

The American Red Cross North Central Ohio Chapter has a new project to support military personnel and veterans. The Red Cross is accepting cans and bags of ground coffee for the “Java for GI’s” project. The coffee will then be given to area military and veterans’ facilities and organizations.

Executive director Todd James said, “Theres a basic camaraderie that veterans and service members share over a cup of coffee.” Coffee can be dropped off at several locations in Findlay including; Coffee Amici, We Serve Coffee, Fort Findlay Coffee & Doughnut Shop, and the Hancock County Red Cross Office.
