Man Indicted And Charged With Raping A Child

A Fostoria man was arrested after being indicted and charged with raping a child.

Jeffrey D. Kingery, 68, was indicted on a charge of rape, a 1st-degree felony.

Court records show that the charge comes with a penalty specification that the victim was under 10 years of age.

The indictment indicates that the alleged crime occurred in March of 2020 in Fostoria.

The indictment was filed on Tuesday and Kingery (below) was arrested on Wednesday and booked at the Hancock County Jail.

His bond has been set at $30,000.
