A man suspected in the overdose death of a Findlay woman is now in the Hancock County jail. Online records show deputies booked 44-year-old Anthony Whitiker of Toledo into the facility Wednesday. A judge set his bond at $200,000.
Whitiker faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence in relation to the February death of 28-year-old Danielle Rice.
A joint investigation by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service led to Whitiker’s arrest at a swimming pool in Georgia last month.
Whitiker also is facing a rape charge in a separate case.
