Mayor Mihalik Talks About Findlay’s 2018 Budget And Possible Shortfall

Findlay’s budget projection shows revenue falling short of expenses for the second year running. Mayor Lydia Mihalik said that the city will carry on business as usual.
Mihalik said that despite the shortfall they haven’t cut any funds.
Mihalik said that they won’t be deficit spending. She explained that 2017 could have a surplus once the books are balanced. 2017 was supposed to be a deficit year as well.
Departments have been urged to minimize spending but haven’t lost any funds.
