Medical Pot Dispensaries In Ohio More Than Doubling

The number of medical marijuana dispensaries in Ohio is doubling.

The Ohio Board of Pharmacy has approved 70 new licenses with three more still pending review.

The licenses awarded in a lottery will increase the number of dispensaries in Ohio from around 60 to more than 130.

More than 261,000 patients in Ohio are currently registered in the state’s medical marijuana program.
