Officials Identify Victims Of Deadly Thanksgiving Crash In Wood County

Law enforcement says a Thanksgiving day crash in Wood County took the lives of a pair of sisters. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports the crash at the intersection of Rudolph Road and U.S. 6 killed 58-year-old Amy Mussard and 62-year-old Celia Jane. The collision also critically injured their mother, 90-year-old Katherine Mussard. She is still receiving treatment at Toledo Hospital.

The sheriff’s office hasn’t been able to locate next of kin for the women.

Their car was traveling south on Rudolph Road when it ran a stop sign and drove into the path of an SUV. Officials have not released the names of the people in the SUV.

The crash remains under investigation.
