OSHP Urging Safe, Sober Driving Over Christmas Holiday
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking drivers to make a commitment to driving safely and responsibly over the Christmas holiday.
The Highway Patrol says its troopers made 58 OVI arrests over the Christmas holiday last year.
“This holiday season make a commitment to the safety of yourself and others by planning ahead to designate a sober driver.”
During last year’s Christmas holiday, there were six fatal crashes that killed 12 people.
Half of those crashes were OVI-related.
