Pandora Council Moves Toward Higher Water And Sewer Rates

Pandora village council members moved toward increasing water and sewer rates earlier this month. The Putnam County Sentinel reports that means the base water rate will move to $18. The usage rate starts at $2.48 per 1,000 gallons over 100,000. The base sewer rate is moving to $15.50. The sewer usage rates start at $4.33 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000 gallons.

Council expects final approval next month. The measure will be effective in September with the first billing coming in the middle of October.
