Pandora Creates Agricultural District To Protect Against Lawsuits
4/5/19 – 5:16 A.M.
Area communities are taking action to avoid lawsuits following Toledo’s passage of the Lake Erie Bill of Rights. The Putnam County Sentinel reports Pandora has established an agricultural district. The district provides protection for farmers against nuisance lawsuits. Ottawa recently made a similar move.
Landowners can qualify for an agricultural district if they have 10 or more acres of land that generates at least $2,500 every year for a three year period.
