Preliminary Report Says Former Kenton Football Player Died Of Hyperthermia

Preliminary autopsy results show a former Kenton football player died this week of a high body temperature. The Portage County coroner says Tyler Heintz was suffering from hyperthermia when he collapsed after conditioning drills at Kent State this week. Heintz was an incoming freshman offensive lineman.
The investigation into Heintz’s death continues.
