The Hancock County Sheriff’s Facebook page shared an article about the conviction of a young woman on involuntary manslaughter charges. The post linked to an article from TodaysMama.com about the conviction of Michelle Carter. Crime Prevention Officer Beth Baker said that Carter urged her boyfriend to kill himself back in 2014 when she could have helped.
Baker said the conviction stresses the importance of teaching kids right from wrong.
Baker said it is best to talk to your kids and pay attention to their online presence.
