Red Cross Needs Volunteers For Smoke Alarm Event

The North Central Ohio chapter of the American Red Cross needs your help later this month. The agency is looking for volunteers to install smoke alarms in Findlay homes on October 21. They’ll send groups of people across neighborhoods in the northwest area of Findlay to install free smoke alarms for residents. They’ll also change the batteries in smoke alarms already installed.

The Red Cross needs around 100 volunteers for the effort. It’s the largest smoke alarm canvassing event the agency has ever attempted.
