Rivers Receding After Hitting Flood Stage Over The Weekend

Waterways are receding after a wet start to the weekend led to some minor flooding around the area. The National Weather Service reports the Blanchard River in Findlay crested just above flood stage at 11.2 feet early Easter morning. It had dropped out of flood stage by Sunday afternoon.
Downstream in Ottawa the Blanchard crested in the minor flood stage around noon on Sunday. The NWS expects it to slowly recede today and drop out of action stage by tomorrow afternoon.
The Eagle Creek rose to slightly above the moderate flood stage at just above 10.1 feet early Sunday morning. It has since returned to normal levels.
