Road Through Riverbend Recreation Area Set For Repaving Next Year
10/10/18 – 4:56 A.M.
Youll see paving work on the road that runs through the Riverbend Recreation Area next year. The Hancock County Board of Park Commissioners approved an agreement to resurface Marion Township Road 208 between roads 241 and 207 during their Tuesday meeting.
The board voted to spend a little more than $34,000 rather than $8,000 for a chip and seal project. Director Gary Pruitt says the asphalt is more expensive, but longer-lasting.
The park board will do the project in conjunction with Marion Township.
