Sprague Endorsed By GOP For State Treasurer Seat

The Ohio GOP has thrown its support behind a state treasurer candidate from Findlay. The Courier reports that Robert Sprague has been endorsed by the Ohio Republican Party over his opponent, Sandra O’Brien. O’Brien is the former Ashtabula County Treasurer.

The GOP also endorsed Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine for governor over Lt. Governor Mary Taylor. O’Brien and Taylor are critical of the nominating process, pointing out that the committee only endorsed men.
