Sprague’s ResultsOHIO Plan Moves Forward

An idea introduced by Findlay’s Robert Sprague during his campaign for state treasurer is moving forward. Sprague announced on Tuesday that a bill to establish a “ResultsOHIO” fund to support a “pay for success” program is headed to the legislature. If the hospital can show improvement in infant mortality then the state will pay back the investment plus interest. ResultsOHIO would fund more projects like that.

In his Tuesday statement, Sprague said, “we’re enlisting the private sector to ensure success is achieved before a single taxpayer dollar is invested.”
