Two Injured In Crash East Of Findlay

A two-car crash east of Findlay injured two people Thursday afternoon. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Kaila Bollinger of Bloomville was driving east on the highway around 3:45 p.m. when she rear-ended a car driven by 66-year-old Robert Heacock of Findlay. Heacock had slowed to wait for another car to turn onto Township Road 246.

Hanco EMS took Bollinger and 65-year-old Beth Wilhelm to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Wilhelm was a passenger in Heacock’s car.

Deputies cited Bollinger for failure to maintain an assured clear distance.
