Upper Sandusky Woman Involved In Fatal Crash Near Marion

A fatal crash near Marion injured a woman from Upper Sandusky Sunday morning. The State Highway Patrol reports 45-year-old Tara Baker suffered injuries in a two-car collision west of Marion around 9:40 a.m.
Baker was driving south on Marion-Williamsport Road at the time. The patrol says its preliminary investigation shows Baker failed to yield at the intersection with State Route 309 and hit a car driven by 73-year-old Edwin Keirns of Marion. The crash killed Keirns and seriously injured his passenger.
The crash remains under investigation.
