07/06/18 – 4:54 A.M.
A person heading the wrong way on I-75 caused a crash that injured two people yesterday. The Bowling Green State Highway Patrol reports that the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes by Ohio 18. 80-year-old Marie Woodruff of North Baltimore entered the interstate from the Ohio 18 exit ramp. She drove for a short distance before crashing head-on with a tractor-trailer driven by 42-year-old Eric Wilson.
Wilson’s truck ran off the left side of the highway, hitting the median wall. Woodruff’s vehicle spun around and stopped in the middle lane. Two other cars driven by 20-year-old Sarina Sangel and 22-year-old Kurtis Lucht swerved to avoid the accident but hit each other.
Woodruff and Wilson suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals. Officers cited Woodruff for driving on the wrong side of the interstate.
