AEP Ohio Rate Increase Approved By PUCO
(ONN) – Some Ohio households will see higher electric bills.
On April 1st, AEP Ohio customers will notice a change to their monthly electric bill.
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio unanimously approved a rate increase of $7.90.
They say at the start of every year, AEP Ohio files its annual update to the transmission part of your bill — which covers the cost to maintain and operate the electrical grid.
AEP says this may increase because of the rising costs of projects and demand.
