New Hancock County Microtransit System Coming

(From HHWP Community Action Commission)

Partnerships move communities forward. Soon, they’ll move people.

Hancock County’s new microtransit system will be a reality in early 2027 because businesses, local government, nonprofits, and philanthropy came together around a shared vision.

A special thank you to our founding partners: the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, City of Findlay, Hancock County Commissioners, Findlay Tall Timbers Industrial Park, and the Blanchard Valley Port Authority whose five-year commitment unlocked nearly $2 million in state and federal funding to launch and stabilize the new transit system.

We’re also grateful to the many businesses, community partners, and nonprofit organizations whose ongoing support helps make affordable, accessible, and reliable public transportation possible for our community every day.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected Hancock County. That’s the power of partnership.
