Luncheon and quarterly meeting of the Blanchard Valley Chapter of the Battle of the Bulge Association on Thursday, 1pm at Kathy’s Korner, Arcadia. All veterans and their families are welcome.

Harvest Dinner to benefit local food pantries on Friday, 5-8pm at the Bluffton middle School cafeteria. Chicken & noodle dinners prepared from scratch by Bluffton University students available by donation. Sponsored by the BU Nutrition Association.

Community Basement Sale on Saturday, 9am-4pm at the Gilboa United Methodist Church. Lunch available. Donations of gently used items for the sale may be dropped off on Sun 11/12 (11:45am-12:30pm), Fri 11/17 (4-5pm) or one hour prior to the sale on Sat 11/18. No shoes or electronics.

Turkey Shoot on Sunday, Noon at the Mt. Blanchard Gun Club. Still shoots, 10-Bird Shoots, Protections and Annie Oakleys.

13th annual Holidaze Craft Show on Friday, December 1, 6-8pm and Saturday, December 2, 9am-2pm at Blanchard Valley Center (E Sandusky St). Free admission. For info:

Living History Demonstration Day on Saturday, December 2, 1-4pm at the Wood County Historical Museum, Bowling Green featuring historical German Christmas traditions at the log cabin. Free.
