J-Ram has surgery on hamate bone, expected to miss up to 6 weeks

The Guardians announced that Ramírez underwent a procedure to remove the hook of the fractured hamate bone in his left hand. The surgery was performed by Dr. Thomas Graham in Lehigh Valley, Pa., and the club said the procedure went as planned.
