Jaison Chourio (CLE No. 5/MLB No. 98) and his ever-improving offensive skills lead Akron in this Double-A matinee. The younger brother of Brewers star Jackson Chourio has put together an excellent year after struggling in 2025. The 21-year-old had a .907 OPS at High-A and has carried that success over to Double-A, where he’s been one of the RubberDucks’ most consistent hitters since his promotion. Joining Chourio are 2025 Draft picks Dean Curley (CLE No. 11), Nolan Schubart (CLE No. 28) and Luke Hill (CLE No. 30), who have combined for 41 homers this season. The Rumble Ponies counter with the versatile Chris Suero (NYM No. 13), who is four long balls shy of equaling the career high of 16 he set last season.
