Arlington municipal workers say some residents not happy about high water bills have threatened them. Village council talked about the issue during a Monday meeting. Workers spoke about three recent threats related to higher bills or shutoff notices. Council told the workers to contact the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office if it happens again.

Arlington recently installed new, more accurate water meters. As a result, some bills could be higher.
