Barn Wall Prepped For America 250 Celebratory Mural

(From the Kiwanis Club of Findlay)

It was a beautiful morning out at Brucklacher Park (next to the Little Red School House on Co Rd 236) as volunteers got to work priming the side of the barn!

The Kiwanis Club of Findlay is incredibly proud to partner with the Hancock Historical Museum, Visit Findlay, Awakening Minds Art, and The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation on this exciting project. Together, we were busy prepping the barn wall for the upcoming America 250 interactive community mural!

The Hancock Historical Museum (in collaboration with the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, Visit Findlay, and Awakening Minds Art) is painting a celebratory mural to encapsulate the legacy of Hancock County at their Brucklacher Memorial Park/Little Red Schoolhouse property!

As part of a broader America 250 initiative, we need the help of Findlay Young Professionals to bring this mural to life. No art training necessary – this paint-by-color masterpiece just needs willing hands to help. Join us and paint your mark on Findlay’s history!
