Blanchard Valley Center Guest Readers Read To Students
(From Blanchard Valley Center, Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities)
Recap of the week so far, our guest readers have read to more than 300 students.
McComb Library, Liberty-Benton grades K and 2, Mrs. Sleasman’s kindergartners at Jefferson, two classes at Whittier, Mrs. Potteiger and Ms. Marks, all hosted guest readers.
The book, Everyone Belongs, has been a success with the teachers and students this year. Tomorrow, our last reading for the week will take place at McComb. We will be visiting all of their first graders.
If you haven’t visited already, stop by the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library before our display comes down on Sunday. There are fun photos and information about the services available through Blanchard Valley Center.
