Carnival Event to Support Infant With Cancer

The is a carnival benefit for a 6-month-old diagnosed with a rare liver cancer on July 29. Atlas Shaffer has been going through rounds of cancer treatments at the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital to save his life. The average out-of-pocket cost for the treatments is $35,000.

Friends of the family have organized the fundraiser for Atlas. It will be from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 29 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. The carnival will feature food, auctions, raffles, and carnival games to name a few attractions.
