UPDATE: City Of Findlay Has New Police Chief

UPDATE 3:05 P.M.
The City of Findlay has a new Police Chief. Mayor Lydia Mihalik announced the appointment of John Dunbar to the position yesterday.Safety Director Paul Schmelzer said that there was some competition for the position.
He has 25 years of experience in police service and had been a lieutenant since 2010. Mihalik added that she believes he has the skills to lead Findlay Police in a manner that best uses their talents.Schmelzer agreed,adding that Dunbar will make a good leader.
Dunbar was appointed as the acting police chief in February of this year after the retirement of Chief Greg Horne.
