Colorado Murder Suspect Arrested In Henry County

A Henry County Sheriff’s deputy arrested a Colorado murder suspect this week. A release from the officesays a deputy stopped 37-year-old Karsten Persson of Montrose, Colorado on October 30 near Hamler. A K-9 unit alerted to drugs in the car, leading to Persson’s arrest.

The Montrose Police Department called the Henry County Sheriff’s Office later in the day. An officer let Henry County authorities know Persson is a suspect in an ongoing murder investigation.

Persson also faces a charge of being a fugitive from justice.
