Farmers’ Markets Opening For The Season

Farmers’ markets are blooming across Hancock County this week.

On Thursday, May 7, from 4–6 PM, the Hancock County Farmers’ Market opens its 21st season at the Jebbett/Rowmark Festival Grounds on the campus of Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Findlay.

Freshly harvested produce, baked goods, flowers, local foods, handmade goods, and the familiar rhythm of seeing neighbors again—it is the season for meeting your food close to home.

Saturday, May 9, brings the McComb Farmers’ Market to 131 East Main Street in downtown McComb from 8:30 AM–Noon for their Second Saturday markets—growers, makers, food trucks, and neighbors gathering in the heart of town.

Two markets. Two rhythms. Two communities rooted in local food, small businesses, and the simple act of showing up for one another.
