Findlay Man Jailed In Michigan Following Motel Disturbance

A Findlay man is in jail in Michigan after causing a disturbance in a motel. MLive.com reports the 57-year-old man set off a fire extinguisher in a hallway and then hit cars in the parking lot with the empty canister. The incident happened July 10 at a Days Inn in Calhoun County.

WTVB reports a judge arraigned Scott Wilson Wednesday. Police say he also had outstanding warrants for arson and interfering with a 911 call after he threatened to blow up his mother’s home in Albion.

A 67-year-old man who worked at the hotel went to the hospital for treatment of respiratory issues as a result of the incident.
