Findlay Man Sentenced To Prison For Fatal Beating Outside Bar

A Findlay man is heading to prison for beating a man outside a bar who later died.

The Courier is reporting that Devin Ray Dennard was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of voluntary manslaughter.

The 25-year-old beat Gregory Hammer outside a bar in December of 2017 and the 53-year-old died two weeks later.

The paper is reporting that Hammer’s family isn’t happy with Dennard’s sentence.
