Counterfeit money is a problem affecting many businesses but there are ways to protect yourself. Findlay Crime Prevention Officer Brian White said that there are things you can look for.
He added that you can look for water markings and security strips.These are hard to replicate.
White said that you should call the police if you get a fake bill. He added that you don’t have to worry about getting charged if you didn’t make it.
You should also refuse to accept the bill. If you do then it is yours and it will be confiscated.
