Findlay Police Address Scams From Buying Things Online

A person fell victim to a rental scam in Findlay after responding to an advertisement in the Facebook marketplace. Police Lt. Robert Ring said that the victim was tricked into sending money.
Ring explained that there are ways to protect yourself though.
Ring explained that these scammers keep everything online and try to get you to send money.
