Fireball Meteor Visible In Sky Over Hancock County

(WTOL-11) – Another fireball meteor was seen in the skies over Ohio, this time in Hancock County.

The fireball was spotted just after 9.30 Monday night and was visible from over half a dozen states.

Video captured the meteor streaking across the sky over Vanlue.

Just days ago, another meteor captured the attention of the nation after it fragmented across Medina County.

According to Michael Cushing, a professor at the University of Toledo, Earth often has small rocks and pieces of dust that enter the atmosphere every day, but they burn up in the atmosphere often without people ever knowing.
