A Fostoria man will spend six years in prison for his connection to two overdose deaths in December of 2016. The Advertiser-Tribune reports Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley sentenced 37-year-old Joseph Worth Tuesday. Worth pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, and aggravated possession of drugs among other charges.
Worth supplied heroin laced with carfentanil to two men in Tiffin. Carfentanil is a powerful synthetic painkiller.
