Hancock County Fair Underway

The Hancock County Fair officially kicks off today. Today is Senior Citizens and Veterans Day on the grounds. Seniors and veterans can get in for $2 with proper identification.

Tonight’s grandstand events include the donkey races in the north grandstand. The event raises money for Flag City Honor Flight. The donkey races raised $15,000 last year.

The Hancock County Band Show is the headline event in the south grandstand tonight. It will start at 7 p.m. Before that, you can see harness racing at 1 p.m. in the south grandstand.
