Hancock County Sheriff Inviting Residents To Join Association For Funding

03/07/19 – 2:03 P.M.

Hancock County Sheriff Michael Heldman announced that Hancock County residents are invited to become associate members of the Buckeye State Sheriffs’ Association. The Sheriff’s Office reports that this is in response to an increasing number of people wanting to assist law enforcement in the fight against crime. You should get membership appeals in the mail. You can join with a contribution as little as $20 which will provide funding for technical resources, training, and legislative support.

Heldman said, “With government funding becoming increasingly difficult to secure, the membership drive has taken greater importance than ever before.” You can learn more by calling the Buckeye States Sheriffs’ Association at 1-800-589-2772.
