Hancock Park District Awards $96,000 In Grant Money

The Hancock Park District awarded $96,000 in grants during their Tuesday meeting. The largest individual grant was for more than $12,500 for Van Buren. The village will use the money to finish a parking lot expansion, buy a Hoadley Park sign, and refurbish a baseball diamond.

Mount Cory is getting more than $11,500 for new tables, chairs, table carts, and chair carts for the community building. The village will also buy trash cans with lids for the park.
