A McComb man has been charged for a Findlay stabbing that happened in July. The Courier reports that Michael J. Jones faces a negligent homicide charge for the stabbing death of 19-year-old Tyler Wilson. Tyler’s mother Kristy Wilson said, “Although I dont think the charge is what he should have been charged with, Im glad to see the city is attempting to give him consequences for his actions.

A Hancock Grand Jury declined to indict an unnamed suspect on murder charges in September. Hancock County Prosecutor Phil Reigle handed the case to Findlay Law Director Don Rasmussen for the possible negligent homicide charge.

Negligent Homicide is a first-degree misdemeanor.
