MCPA Performing Arts Camp Students Putting On Rock Musical

The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA) is proud to present Olympus: The Greek Rock Musical, the showcase performance of its Summer Performing Arts Camp, at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10.

Olympus: The Greek Rock Musical is a laugh-out-loud rock musical where ancient myths meet modern mischief. The Greek gods, bored with their immortal routines, launch a competition to prove who is the greatest god of all time—by meddling with mortals. When a group of modern-day cousins sets out on a hike to “Olympus Overlook,” they have no idea they’re about to be tested by ancient deities.

This vibrant new musical was created by Denver Casado and Kerry Kazmierowicztrimm and is presented through special arrangement with Beat by Beat Press.

The production features a cast of 60 talented local students in grades 3–8 who have spent the week honing their skills in MCPA’s immersive Summer Performing Arts Camp.

Tickets are $10 (general admission) and available at the MCPA Box Office or online at mcpa.org. The box office is located at 200 W. Main Cross St. in Findlay and is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
