No One Files To Run For Findlay School Board Seats

Two Findlay City School board seats are up for election this year, and it appears no one wants them. The Courier reports no one filed to run for the board by Wednesday’s deadline to file. The seats held by Shane Pochard and Barb Dysinger are up for election. Pochard announced on Monday he wasn’t running for reelection. Dysinger hasn’t commented on her plans.

If you’re interested you have until August 28 to file as a write-in candidate.

The last contested school board race happened in 2011.
