Ohio Working To Get Ahead Of Potential Threats To Election System

Tensions between the U.S. and Iran are leaving some worried about potential threats to upcoming elections across the country, including in the Buckeye State.

Ohio leaders are getting ahead of any potential threats to our election system.

Secretary of State Frank LaRose sent a memo to Ohio’s 88 counties explaining how to block Iranian IP addresses.

In the memo he said, “the bad guys only have to be right once. We have to be right every day.”

He said there have been no successful intrusions into Ohio’s elections network, including county boards of elections.
