One Injured When SUV Hits Home In Seneca County

An SUV hit a house near Bascom late last week, injuring one person. The State Highway Patrol reports the incident happened at 7517 West State Route 18 around 9 a.m. Friday.

28-year-old Samantha Newlove was driving west on the highway when she went off the road and hit the home. Bascom EMS took her passenger, 24-year-old Jeanette Zavala of Fostoria to Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Troopers cited Newlove for driving without reasonable control.
