Ongoing Opportunities For Public Interaction With Commissioners

(From the Hancock County Commissioner’s Office)

As an extension of their Town & Country Tuesday community gatherings that the Hancock County Commissioners introduced last summer, ongoing opportunities for continued public interaction with the commissioners are being made available throughout this new year.

Beginning this Friday, February 6th, Commissioner Timothy Bechtol will be offering routine open office hours each Friday afternoon from 1-3 PM in the Commissioners’ 1st Floor Hearing Room in the Hancock County Administration Building at 514 South Main Street in Downtown Findlay.  In these Friday Afternoon Roundup Sessions the public will be invited to share their interests and reactions to a wide variety of issues and topics affecting Hancock County.  No advanced appointments will be required to meet with Commissioner Bechtol during these public gatherings.  This is an ideal method of bringing issues to the commissioners’ attention for possible future inclusion on their general business meeting agendas.

As a reminder, the commissioners conduct their regular general business meetings in their 1st Floor Hearing Room every Tuesday and Thursday normally beginning at 9:30 AM.  Please refer to their agendas posted on their website https://www.co.hancock.oh.us/AgendaCenter/County-Commissioners-2 for any additional special requested meetings following their general business meetings on those days.  Each commissioner is available for individual meetings by appointment by calling their main office phone at 419-424-7044.
